This year's ride will support Blue Ridge pregnancy center. They care about saving the lives of little ones and supporting mothers when they really need it.
This 2 hour journey through the mountainous heart of Virginia covers paved roads made for the "perfect day" ride. Riders Must register at the Clifford Ruritan club 755 Fletchers Level rd. Amherst , Va. 24521 where the ride will begin and end. Participants must have current motorcycle liability insurance. Only registered participant's will be eligible for any SAVE THE BABY RUN prizes or receive a pin. Donations - Five Dollars or more is welcome per participant. Sorry there is no rain date, riders should check Facebook post the day of event for ride cancellation. The 4' M fest festival itself is a rain or shine event. Schedule - Registration opens at - All kickstands should be up by 2:30pm. 3 checkpoints are planned for our Save The Baby Run. Motorcycle operators and riders must register to be eligible for prizes. Any and all participants must sign a waiver of liability and have current Va. motorcycle liability minimum coverage insurance to participate. No operators or riders under 18 permitted.
The suggested donation when registering is 5 dollars for each participant to cover maps and pins. Participants may donate more than 5 dollars to B.R.P.C. and donations over 49 dollars qualify for a free combo meal from our Mfest menu and a t-shirt.
The ride is approximately 2 hours when there are no stops and the speed limit is obeyed, almost 80 miles. There are 3 designated check points. We recommend you leave the starting point early before 2:30pm and give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the ride. Safety not speed is your most important goal.
The object of the run is to collect a baby with different color hair from each checkpoint. See the cashier at each store and grab one Baby out of the jar. 3 babies will easily fit in a normal pocket. Upon returning to the start/ finish area submit your Babies to the registration desk to be eligible for prizes. Must be present to win prizes.
Each checkpoint has gas. There are no contingencies for breakdowns please prepare yourself accordingly.
Always Be alert Be safe. All roads are paved however some legs of this run may have road debris from time to time and sharp curves, caution is advised. Scenic elevations reach 3,000 feet in some locations and waysides are abundant on this loop.
